With heartbreaking sadness we announce the sudden passing of our son Stephen “Kyle “ Tardiff on April 23, 2023 at the age of 51.

Kyle is survived by his daughter, Olivia Gugulyn of Edmonton, Alberta and his son, Nathaniel Tardiff of Trois Rivieres, Quebec. Also, his sister Christy (Harry) Catsaroupas of Saint John, New Brunswick. His favorite Aunt, Colleen Peterson and his loving friend and second Mom, Barbara Stillman of Saint John, New Brunswick.

He will be painfully missed by his parents, Joe and Shelly(Frederick) Tardiff of Saint John, New Brunswick.

Kyle was a beautiful soul. A true friend that was always there for those that called on him even though he struggled himself. He touched many lives with his kindness, compassion and love for all people. Kyle saw people how they are with no judgment. He had a rare gift of helping those who had no one and gave them dignity. Kyle, you were well loved by so many. “Do small things with great love.” Was one of his favourites.

Kyle had a great love for Mother Earth and all her creatures. He and Laura went on long bike rides and walks in the forest as much as possible. He loved Jesus whom he loving called “The Dude”.

A friend wrote:
“Your character spoke volumes and your kindness/non-judgmental approach with people was a rare quality not everyone is blessed with.”

We, Kyle’s family are extremely grateful to all who have expressed their love and support during this tragic time.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
